Sorry, it's been a while......

Hello All

I am sorry it has been a while since I have posted on my blog. My only excuse is work! LOL

I have had a couple of days off and have made a few cards that I wanted to share with you.

The Border Collie card is to say 'Thank You' to a friend for looking after Lettie's Collie Dog - Lucy. The other is a birthday card for a crafting friend. Its a 3d card on a base cut with my Cricut - Hope you like them :)

I am hoping to go off to the NEC on 4 November 2010 - maybe I will see you there?

Summer crafting

Hello Everyone
I am sorry that I haven't posted for a while but I have been so busy. I have either been busy with work or busy in the garden. Crafting has taken a bit of a back seat for May 2010.

However, I have made a couple of cards that I wanted to share with you.



This owl card was made with the Little Claire's stamp. I am a member of their stamping club and they send you a monthly stamp. This is the card for the month and I am pleased with how it has come out. What do you think?





This is a birthday card made for someone special - just soooo cute xxx















It is a pity that I am not a better photographer, but I like this card. I have used my new Martha Stewart Punch. The card label reads "Hand picked for you".





I hope that you all are finding some time to craft. I find that evenings are better when the weather is this warm. I promise that I will post again next week.

A forthcoming Wedding.

Well it seems as if it is the year for weddings.

My eldest son Greg is marrying his fiancee Lucy on 18th September 2010.

Here is the card that I made to accept the invitation.

Lucy loves pink and the theme is pink.

What a lovely day.

Well, here in Herefordshire it is a lovely day. Started off cold but sunny and has warmed up nicely - not a cloud in the sky at present.

Time off work but no crafting :(

Hi all

I have had three days of work this week, but sadly I didn't have any time for crafting.
I have made some ATC's tonight. What do you think?

I have spent the week sorting things out, like the garden, doing the washing, dog to the vet and being home alone.

I am hoping to do another scrapbook page tomorrow and maybe a card or two?

I have just received some lovely scrapbook papers and bits for my New York Album so I am hoping that later today I can make a start here. I have my little Canon Selphy printer for Scrapbooking and I am looking forward to getting this into action with my holiday photo's. When I have a page, I will share them.

The sun has been shining here in Herefordshire today and I can't believe they are talking about snow later this week - hope they are wrong.

Sure Cuts Alot

Hi

I have had a great time in NYC and will produce a blog about it over the next week, so watch this space!

I have today bought the software called "Sure Cuts Alot" for my Cricut on the recommendation of Laney - Thanks Laney :)

I have downloaded some files and cut them out today and made a couple of cards. I can see that this will be very useful for Scrapbooking also.

The Photo shows the Easter Card that I have made today using the above software and my Cuttlebug. I do hope that you like it. The background is done using an Easter paper through the Cuttlebug. The egg is cut out using the software and jewels added to make it look posh.

Baby's and Cards.......

Hello

Someone I know is about to have a baby and in today's fashion, she knows that her baby will be a baby girl. Personally, I would not have liked to know what sex my baby was but then we didn't have that choice 20yrs ago.

However, it has helped me to make a card for her pending the birth. I am at a busy time in my life currently and finding time to make cards is very important to me. Here is the card I have made for her with a beautiful image - fairly simple - and I was pleased with the outcome.

Some ATC's.

Hello

I have today been making a few ATCs for some swaps. I have yet another cold so have not been so creative today - a feeling of not being bothered, which is unlike me. I love to find some time for my craft room - so I hope that returns shortly.

I hope that you like the ATCs - from top left they are "Beautiful Baby", two called "Love" and the last is called "Lady in the Red Hat".

Crafting on a Sunday

Hello

I always seem to manage to find some crafting time on a Sunday. A weekday is hit and miss because of work but the weekend is better.

I hope that you like the cards I have made today? three very different cards that I am sure will be used as RAKS - Have joined a new cardmaking group on Yahoo and I have already received some lovely RAKS - and will be sending out a few this week.

And yet more snow!

Hello All

A quick post to say that there has been more snow and still more to come. I wanted to share some photo's of my pets in the snow. Hugo my Basset Hound loves to play with Lucy the Collie in the snow. Bella our old Lab finds it to cold. I am not sure what the hens and ducks think?
