What a little Cutie :)

Hi Bloggers!

Just after Christmas, I travelled with Gemma (my son James's partner) to pick up their long awaited Birthday and Christmas present for each other.

Her name is Betty - the English Bulldog. Isn't she just cute? This is her in the car on the way home in early January 2012.

As you can imagine, Betty is spoilt - and I just know that she will have grown loads when I see her this coming Saturday. Many pet owners will understand the bond that you have with a pet. They wiggle their way into your life and break your heart occasionally. (And your bank balance!)

This is Betty trying on her new harness before her trip to the vet - 'One is not amused!'

Well, I wanted to send James and Gemma a card - a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) as it is a family joke for the Colman's. What better than a card with a Betty on it. A very simple card but a similar likeness to Betty at this lovely cute age.

I am sure that Betty will bring lots of love and joy to their lives in the coming years and I just can't wait until my Basset Hound Hugo meets her :)

A card with a difference

Hi

Just a quickie to share a card that I made on Sunday for a crafting friend. It was inspired by a card that was sent to me from an American lady. My husband Tim bought the two stamps I have used back from Michaels in Chicago. What do you think?

Many thanks for stopping by :)

So where have I been.....??

Hi Ladies
Well, I guess that with work projects, Christmas and many cards to make, I have neglected my blog. So, I am about to change all that :)

Since Christmas, I have not had much time for crafting, but I have managed to spend some money on crafts, fit another two cabinets in my craft room courtesy of www.storage4crafts.com (I am not sure how much I have spent there!). Last Sunday, I made a couple of cards and today I have made a few more. I am going to put them up over the next few days as I am waiting for some to arrive at their destination.

So, here we go:

This is a very pink card - to cheer up some card making friends. The envelope is addressed and it is on it's way. I made a couple with a similar topper but decided to share this one. The design on the topper is from KANBAN and I chose it because I love sewing.

This is a simple 3D card from the lovely Hot Diggity Dog range. As a dog and cat lover, I couldn't resist these papers. I am sure that it will appeal :)

Lastly for today, I share with you a birthday card for a male friend. I always find male cards hard to do and had a look through my stash and found this lovely topper. I hope that he likes it. It was a quick and simple card to make and quiet effective.

I have two other special cards that I will share with you all later in the week.
Please do leave me a message to let me know that you have dropped by. I am off now to do a 'blog hop' as I have missed checking out others crafting areas.

Take care
Colette
