Hi Bloggers!
I hope that you have all found some time to be creative this weekend. I have :)
I have made some cards, fat pages and am getting ready to share another project, if I can finish it this week.
In the meantime, I will share with you another plaque made for my Crafting Pal Barbara Lea.
This was using the tissue paper technique.
Here is a card made for a 'pricking' swap. Played havoc with the old eyes! LOL But I was pleased with the result. Hope that my partner is pleased with it.
The pricking on the background took me some time to do and then, when it was complete, I cut it out in a wavy pattern, before creating a black and white 3d flower for the centre.
Please, when you drop by, either leave me a comment to let me know you have visited, or a link to your blog.
Be Creative!

And another stamped plaque
Hi Bloggers!
Just a quick blog today to share a plaque made for a swap recently. This was made with Little Claire stamps using the technique shared on a previous posting, using tissue paper.
This is using my favourite colour - purple :) Die-cut butterflies and flowers from my stash.
My partner who received it is pleased with it and it is hanging in her craft room.
Please feel free to leave any comments or questions.

And another Fat Page
Hi Bloggers!
I just wanted to share with you another Fat Page that was created for a swap.
The theme of the swap was summer holidays.
The deckchair was stamped to the page and then the seat stamped again, coloured with Pro-markers and then stuck on with 3d pads. I did the same with the beach hut. The 'ric-rac' in blue at the bottom is to represent the sea. The 'Wish you were here' stamp added the finishing touch. All stamps used were from the last edition of Creative Stamping magazine.
Hope you like it :)

More cards.......
Hi Bloggers!
Just a quick post today with a few quick cards.
I belong to the Little Claire's club and membership means that I get a monthly stamp, card and newsletter.
As always, it was a lovely stamp that I received this month. I like the card that was designed for them this month, but I thought that I could use the contents, with some bits from my stash to make three cards. This is what I came up with :)
Hope that you like them - the card with Giggle on is my favourite. These will be RAK's and they will be winging their way off shortly.
Thanks for popping by - please leave a comment to say you have called.

A couple of quick Stamped cards.
Hi Bloggers!
Hope that the weather with you is fine? It is not so hot here today - quiet pleasant :)
This card is quiet simple to make using some of my Little Claire Stamps. I love colouring them with my promarkers/copics pens. I also cut a butterfly using my 3d die. Didn't take too long to make but I think it is effective.
This card was made using my First Edition Papers - they are embossed papers from the Bird Song set. I used a new corner die and a new stamp both purchased at the NEC earlier this year. The Butterfly stamp is from Little Claire's and coloured again with my Promarkers/Copics. Used an ink pad in pink to edge the stamps as it makes them stand out.
This card is a variation on the above using a different corner die.
Hope that you like my quick cards. Please do leave a comment on my blog.

Happy Birthday Tim :)
Hi Bloggers!
Just a quick post to say Happy Birthday to my Husband Tim. We have had a great family weekend and we have spent two days with little Charlie. The Colman juniors came for a birthday barb-b-que and it was pleasantly warm and not to hot. We are off for a meal with our good friends tomorrow evening to continue the celebrations.
Here is the card I made for Tim - with a Tilly on it :)
Hope you have had a great weekend all - I have :)

Little Claire's Stamp of the month.
Hi Bloggers!
Just a quick post today - Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine :)
Firstly, the card created with the Little Claire's stamp of the month from their club. The card was not designed by me, but put together by me :)
A beautiful stamp and I just loved the idea of using some of the matching paper for the umbrella :)
(You can see it if you look closely)
I then made two fairly quick and simple cards, using the club stamp - both using the same idea.
The first card has a lovely summery feel to it - with the yellow daisies. Just love the corner stamp to.
The second card, same stamps but with a pinky colour.
I hope that you like my cards and please, when you pop by, leave me a comment to say ' Hi! '

What do you think about Mini-Zine's?
Hello Bloggers!
Well, I am back from my two week break and wanted to share something that I made in June 2013. It was for a swap in a group and was called a Mini-Zine. It is made from one sheet of paper and is quiet easy to do.
Link to "How to make a mini-zine"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5oD8EyZHOU
So, after making the Mini-Zine, it was time to look at my stamps and pick a theme - I decided on flowers.
This is the front and back cover :
Another stamp from Little Claire's Stamps and facts from Google :)
Last two pages:
More stamps from Little Claire's Stamps and my journalling.
A sweet idea I am sure you will agree and something I will try again.

Would love to see any that you may create - Please leave me a comment on my blog to let me know you have dropped by.
Happy Crafting!

My First Creative Plaque
Hi Bloggers!
Well, today I wanted to share something a bit different with you all. Hope you like it :)
For a swap on an online stamping group I belong to, we had to decorate a plaque for a swap. I chose the theme 'Sewing Room'. It involved stamping of tissue paper and using Modge Podge! I loved it - was real messy.
Please see the YouTube link that shows you the technique.
The stamping group can be found at : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/StampersUK/
Then, using inks and other types of glues and embellishments I started to put it all together. The colour theme was black and white with a hint of red. I wanted a verse in the centre, so selected one and stamped that onto card and used red ink around the edge to make it stand out. I love the baby cotton reels as well. I used cotton ribbon printed up as a tape measure to hang it up by :)
Here is the photo of the completed project. Hope you like it. I don't think it is bad for a first attempt and I hope that Pauline, my partner in the swap likes it.
So what crafting are you all up to? Please leave me a comment and let me know.
Catch you all soon :)

Sharing some more cards - Little Claire's - Part 2
Well, it is such a beautiful day - but what am I doing? I am indoors CREATING! LOL
I am making something a bit different which I will share in a few days time.
I thought I would share some more of my cards made with the Little Claire's stamps.
I just love the little owl stamps - must use them more!
This was one of their club stamps and it wasn't really a favourite of mine, until I made the card. Took a bit of colouring and some nice glittery patterns finished it off nicely.
Another club stamp in my favourite colours - purple!
The last share for today is this smashing card that was a stamp for the queens diamond Jubilee in 2012. I just love it. I sent it to a friend in America and made another for a UK swap. Not sure what I will use it for in the future - any ideas?
Anyway Bloggers. Hope you all have a great day.

Sharing some more cards - Little Claire's - Part 1
Hi Bloggers!
I thought today I would share some cards with you that I have made with my Little Claire stamps.
I joined their club in the very beginning and have been a member ever since. Each month, they send you a stamp, a card kit and a newsletter. Some months I make the card up as soon as it arrives and other times I wait until I am required to make a card for somebody that the card/stamp would be ideally suited to.
This card is made using the Cat at the window stamp - and a Little Claire's sentiment.
This card is made using the dog in the window stamp. It has an opening window that shows the scene inside the house and you are able to stamp a 3d window box.
This card is the 'cupcake tree'. A lovely stamp showing a tree with cup cake fruits. You also have a small cupcake stamp to decorate the edges.
On a tree theme, this is the butterfly tree. I have embossed it on the card and coloured in the butterflies with pro-markers - this is a purple themed card but I have made it in many colours.
Hope that you like what I have shared with you. I will post a part two later this week.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment.

Hello Bloggers!
Well, I guess that having a grandson must have affected my blogging! LOL. It hasn't stopped my crafting but I have been poor at updating my blog. I apologise for that and will try harder!
Charlie, my first Grandson is now 1. Here is a photo of him on his first birthday. He is a lovely boy and so well behaved. Grannie and Gramps look after him every Saturday as his mum and dad work. What fun we all have :)
So, in terms of crafting I have been unto many things. I have still been card making, making Fat Pages and doing some altered art. This last week I have spent time sorting out my craft room again - and I found things that I had forgotten I had! I have also discovered some things that I don't need anymore so will get them onto Ebay shortly. I am working on some altered art and will post it to the blog when it is completed. I am awaiting my Ranger Melt Pot - and am very excited about that.
So, some cards:
This is the card I made for Charlie's first Birthday - for those of you who don't know, it is Raa Raa the Lion - he has been a bit obsessed with him - so much so that he chose himself some Raa Raa toys and a football.
This is a card that I made for a swap that was sent of to India.
This is a card that I made for a swap entitled Fashion.
Hope that you like what you see and I promise that I will post again soon. Do leave me a comment on my blog to let me know how you are doing.
Have a great day.
Colette
